   1. we reverted 43968 to make mandatory leaf nodes work, it caused breakages and has been fixed (colindixon, 16:24:12)
   2. it's still being looked into whether it's a bug in the patch or downstream projects (colindixon, 16:24:27)
   3. most MD-SAL patches are around the YANG/Java v2 binding spec (colindixon, 16:24:49)
   4. also some patches around YANG tools pateches (bug-6316) (colindixon, 16:25:11)
   5. clustering patches in controller were discussed on the clustering call (colindixon, 16:27:43)
   6. in netconf, we can now discard flawed models, but keep going on mounting a NETCONF device (colindixon, 16:28:03)

   8. also some patches to improve efficiency (colindixon, 16:29:44)
   9. anipbu points out that there were compliation failures in nodeconnectionproxy in carbon (colindixon, 16:30:14)

   11. getChildByName() was only removed on carbon (colindixon, 16:31:01)
